One of the most desirable suburbs of Oakland, Concord is a safe and active community with plenty to offer its residents. Concord is conveniently located near major cities like San Francisco, Sacramento, and San Jose.
 
The town was founded in 1869 by California ranchero Don Salvio Pacheco II under the name Todos Santos (“All Saints”). Eventually, the name was changed to Concord, and the town was incorporated in 1905. Today, Concord is known as a major Bay Area suburb with a thriving downtown.
 
Homes here tend to price on the lower end for the Bay Area, making Concord a great destination for homebuyers who want to live close to San Francisco. Concord’s million-dollar homes are located in desirable areas near green space and convenient amenities. Many of these homes are custom builds or feature Spanish architecture that alludes to the town’s history.
